Hey there, i run the installation on a Windows 10 x64 machine as admin. The installation just doesn´t finish. Tried a view older versions, still not working. Parts of the program work but not the whole installation as i need it. As you can see from the log file there seems to be a problem with the registry. Since i cant even add attachments to this forum... i put up a google link and the last line in this post. Would be glad if you guys have a solution for me Drive Link: drive.google.com/open?id=1Yhdmv43eOoOEKY1ckWDpUdcOTH-6q4pU2018-01-30 20:07:10.044 Successfully created the icon. 2018-01-30 20:07:10.047 -- Icon entry -- 2018-01-30 20:07:10.047 Dest filename: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\vJoy\vJoy Device List.lnk 2018-01-30 20:07:10.047 Creating the icon. 2018-01-30 20:07:10.052 Successfully created the icon. 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 NeedRestart() - Start 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 InitFromRegistry() - Start 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 GetCommandlineParam(): Flag: initreg not found 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 InitFromRegistry() - using the default registry file: vJoyInit.reg 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 InitFromRegistry(): FileC:\Users\bjit\Desktop\SDK\SDK\vJoyInit.reg not found 2018-01-30 20:07:10.057 Exec_vJoyInstall() - Start Greetings

There isnothing wrong with the registry. Perhaps the fastest solution will be to uninstall vJoy then install the latest version then to boot the machine. This usually solves installation problems.

Are you sure that is did not install. Please use the Device Manager to find out. It just doesn't make sense that the installer that has been used on thousands of system just went wrong. Unless you are using a new version of Windows that bloke something.

No offence meant. Well, the next thing to do will be to inspect the system log: setupapi.dev.log as I mention in this document. Please search for string "!!!"

Strange. Either MS changed something in W10 or there's a bug that was always there. I recommend you post a link to your setupapi.dev.log file for me to investigate.

@brechas18: This is a UCR message. I guess it means that vJoy is not installed. Please read the above.

I kept trying to install Vjoy and it keeps acting like it never finishes. The install window just locks up and doesnt seem to finish. CAD is the only way to get rid of it. Randomly it installed even after it freezing and me still having to CAD out. But when it does appear to be installed UHC keeps saying it is old and to install the newest version although that is what I have been doing.

Seems like something was changed in Windows 10. I need to see your file setupapi.dev.log as I explained above - this file holds a log of all installation efforts.

Hi Shaul, after deleteing the vJoy tool, the FFB on my Fanatec wheel isn´t working anymore. I deleted all files as mentioned on your page and I couldn´t find any entries in the .inf files. I also re-installed the Fanatec driver, but the FFB is dead. Any solution ?

Did you DELETE vJoy or uninstalled it? If you did not uninstall then please re-install then uninstall. Then reboot.
