I talked DigiCert down to $450.00 just because of this project. So that is good news!

Hi guys, there are many of us in the same situation, and many forums / sites with people like you pushing for it, but you seem to be more active. Here is a guy who said he managed to get something and thinks with old Shaul's certificate it could work: github.com/shauleiz/vJoy/issues/30#issuecomment-505181831here is a discord channel about bringing vJoy back to life (DON'T FORGET VGEN for xbox compatibility and C# wrappers!!) discordapp.com/channels/586555712411271178/586555875096002574Users: weeryan17, evilC and nefarius seem to be on topic. Nefarius maintained the SCVBus driver for a while (required by vGen) and you can find evilC posts and discussions with Shaul long ago, here: vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/forum/5-Discussion/1178-vjoy-2-1-7-vgen-and-vxboxLet's try to push for this all together, let's try to ask these people, because somehow it seems to be stalled and many of us are in need of this fantastic tool that good Shaul wrote! P.S.: I am also willing to contribute anyhow, donating or providing any info (although I unknown how vJoy/vGen is written and the certificates' requirements).

Justin, I think some important things are being mentioned in the discord channel (maybe you are aware of this piece of info, but anyway): "... since Win10 you can't cross-sign (aka mislabeled as self-sign) kernel code anymore, you need to submit the binaries to the Microsoft hardware portal and jump their hoops. The EV cert will just be your passport to that portal but the kernel won't load what's directly signed with it […] you then need at least one Azure AD tenant for authentication and sign around 6 documents from MS […] The only really expensive and soul reaping component is WHQL testing" (see discordapp.com/channels/586555712411271178/586555875096002574 for more info, that was posted today, 2019/06/29) It's a pity that there is so big polarization, specially when the software was written by someone who gave it for free. Maybe we can all talk with each other and collaborate if it is helpful or necessary. I'm writing here and in discord as well not to annoy anyone, but to try to help saving time and money to all of us. I'm not the discord channel's owner or anything but I'm sure we are all welcomed to join and share ideas!

diegosynth Can you post a legitimate discord link, the one that was provided does not go to a channel. (discordapp.com/channels/586555712411271178/586555875096002574)

Wow, again I'm amazed at such lengths you have to go through for a piece of software that's free. Maybe start charging like 1.99 for a license or something low...that way when its pirated (if its low enough) you wont really really be missing out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm so confused as to what's going on here? You send the files to be signed to Microsoft, agree to not use them for malicious purposes, pay a fee, and done.
Do you need help dealing with Microsoft?
