I'm trying to install vJoy on Windows 10. The Installing window progress bar was been fully green withing a minutes or so, but has remained for over 20 so far. vJoyInstall log is empty (not flushed?)
The Setup Log 2020-06-21 #002.txt file is at 17Mb
The latest entries there are: 2020-06-21 15:28:41.784 Value name: OEMName 2020-06-21 15:28:41.784 Deleting the value. 2020-06-21 15:28:41.784 Successfully deleted the value. 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 NeedRestart() - Start 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 InitFromRegistry() - Start 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 GetCommandlineParam(): Flag: initreg not found 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 InitFromRegistry() - using the default registry file: vJoyInit.reg 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 InitFromRegistry(): FileC:\Users\xxxxx\Downloads\Joystick Gremlin\vJoy\vJoyInit.reg not found 2020-06-21 15:28:41.785 Exec_vJoyInstall() - Start
Time now is 15:50 and installing window is still hanging. Clicking cancel appears to do nothing. Checking task manager: Apps One Setup/Uninstall process running - 11.8 MB, taking no CPU or Disk.
Background processes vJoy Device setup has two processes, both 2.7 MB, taking no CPU or Disk
Time now 15:56, neither log file appears to have changed.
Stopped Setup/Uninstall through Task Manager.
vJoyInstall.log is still empty / can not be opened.

Well, yes and no.
I'm trying to use vJoy with Joystck Gremlin.
vJoy 2.2.0 appears to install and unistall nicely. Joystick Gremlin does not talk to vJoy 2.2.0
Joystick Gremlin does talk to vJoy 2.1.9.1
vJoy 2.1.9.1 is the version that prompted this thread. It hangs on installation. Stopping and restarting the PC means that vJoy will work, but there seems to be a conflict with Logitech's X-56 software.
Uninstalling 2.1.9.1 was painful, I had to resort to Revo Uninstaller, and even that couldn't clean everything out.
Is there a version of vJoy that both works with Logitech's software and with Joystick Gremlin on Windows 10? Thanks

For vjoy 2.2.0, try to overwrite the vJoyInterface.dll from your feeder application Joystick Gremlin with the one provided in the v2.2.0 SDK. This may work.
