I just installed vJoy from vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/download-a-install/download with all of the components, the vJoy Device shows up in Game Controllers on Windows, but in the Test tab none of the inputs respond to the Gamecube controller. I'm using the official Nintendo USB adapter on Windows 10 with an official Smash 4 edition controller. I know the controller and adapter work because I'm playing Melee on Dolphin with it as I stare at the vJoy device not registering the inputs. There was one thing that went odd during the installation, it wouldn't end (just stayed with the progress bar completely full), so I ended the task and restarted it. It said I had to end some other process to start the installation again, so I selected "force close it" or something like that and the installation started and reached the same point as last time. So I ended the process it had mentioned myself while the installer was still running and the installer said the installation had completed successfully. I don't remember what the process was called.

This usually means that the driver was correctly installed. You can try to run vJoyConf and disable/enable the device just to be on the safe side.
I am not familiar with Gamecube. Why would you expect it to control vJoy? Is it some kind of a feeder? Please explain.

Gamecube is an old console from nintendo. vJoy does nothing without a feeder. If your GC controller is seen by windows as a regular game controller, use UCR to remap your GC controller to vJoy.

Huh, every time I look for how to use a Gamecube controller to control games on a PC vJoy always comes up, to the point I thought that was its intended purpose. I'm gonna try that link, evilc.

I'm not sure what you mean by "vJoy always comes up" - vJoy is a driver, what so you actually see?

He meant that he did a google and vJoy was always the top result in his searches, so he assumed that vJoy contained everything that he needed.
