I've been trying to get vjoy working for 4 players on a minipac arcade board for a few hours now and figured i'd just ask some questions here, so hopefully I can stop spinning my wheels.
The minipac is seen as a keyboard by the PC, so i need to emulate the xinputs of a 360 controller in order to play games like Castle Crashers in 4 player on Steam.
I'm sure this is a dumb question, but is the vjoy software on the headsoft website (http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=vjoy) related to the vjoy software I'm downloading from the vjoystick site? I'm guessing someone at that site took the SDK and created their own UI and named it "vjoy"? Because the version of vjoy I'm downloading off of vjoystick has a completely different UI that isn't immediately obvious (at least to me) how to setup for emulating a joystick with a keyboard.
I found the link to the headsoft website on a tutorial for using vjoy (https://steamcommunity.com/app/448510/discussions/0/343785574516858779/) and was able to get 2 players up and running as expected pretty easily. However, there only seemed to be 2 virtual controllers available through that UI.
Is there a way to add more than 2 virtual controllers through the headsoft version of the vjoy software? Does anyone have any good tutorials for emulating more than 2 joysticks through the use of vjoy > x360ce or by any other means?
I appreciate any help. Thanks!

In case it helps anyone in the future looking to do the same thing, I got this set up and working with 4 players using a combination of vjoy and UCR. I followed a tutorial here - www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEJYoGx_Q6A&t=196s

Headsoft vJoy is not compatible with Shaul's vJoy. AFAIK it shares some API endpoints, but it has way less functionality than Shaul's vJoy.
FYI, UCR works with Shaul's vJoy only.

Good point! I should have mentioned that. Yes, the vJoy/UCR combo I set up was using Shaul's vJoy. Works very well. Thanks! This is the tutorial I followed to set it up - www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEJYoGx_Q6A&t=60s
