Hello guys,
I have installed the vJoy on a Win8.1 with FlightGear 2017.2.1 today. I also have the feeder and the Monitor application running to set the 8 axes of vJoy. It is running well. But in the FlightGear Joystick Mapping window there are only Axes 0 to 5 responding. The signals for Axes RY and SL1 are not recognized !
Is it a Problem of Flight Gear or is it a mapping bug in the Joystick driver used by the vJoy Software? Has anyone an idea?

Shaul is on holiday at the moment, I will see if I can help you out. Are you sure that flightgear supports all 8 axes? If it's joystick support uses the WinMM API for example, then it will only be able to see the first 6 axes, 32 buttons and 1 POV hat. Does it recognize vjoy button 33?

Ah, thank you for the information. I don't know the internals of flightgear, but it makes sense if it only uses 6 axes. (But Flightgear shows 8 axes to select from, so i thought it could handle them !?).
Anyway, i don't need to worry about it any more.
Have a nice weekend...
