Hi, I followed the walkthrough of how to configure vjoy however I'm unable to get it to work at all. So far I've tried it on 2 games (Splatoon & Legend of Zelda WW) without success. I've attached a pic of my settings. Win 10 x64 Radeon R9 380 8GB i5-4690k Any help would be much appreciated

You seem to have configured vJoy device 1 correctly. Before you continue any further, please make sure this this device has been recognised by system. Use 'Game Controllers' (joy.cpl). If it is recognised then vJoy is probably OK. If not, please uncheck and the check 'Enable vJoy' in vJoyConf.

I'll give an insight of what I'm trying to achieve because I'm now thinking it might not be possible.
My daughter is disabled and currently uses her iPad to control games on her PC. She has an app that effectively allows her to have (make) a bespoke keyboard, trackpad, gamepad. She uses this to play Citra games as well as other PC games. Having read up about vJoy I'd hoped that she could use the trackpad for the camera/aiming (effectively the right analogue stick action) along with keyboard keys. Your talk of 'game controllers' has me thinking I may have misunderstood what I could achieve.
Thanks

I see. I know that Barrie Ellis, who runs OneSwitch, did wonders with vJoy for people with disabilities. He seems to be very helpful.

Hello, I installed vjoy, added 4 different devices and I see they are recognized by windows. Im looking all over but I cant find the input settings as shown in the first message, any help?
(I tried using it with x360ce but even there I cant set any button and I think that is the main isssue why no games recognize the multiple controllers)
Thanks for the help

Hi quistis, Well, this is not a part of vJoy. Now, the question is: "What were you trying to do". You see, vJoy is useless (as EvilC put it) without a feeder. vJoy is just a driver. If you tell me what was the original intention I will try to see if I can help.

In the game you can play up to 5 local players but I dont have many controllers so I want to simulate at least 3 with the keyboard (I got one xbox pad). In the game you press "start" with a pad to join, and "space" with the keyboard, Im assuming that even If windows recognizes that I plugged multi controllers, I still need to set different buttons to each one of them to be able to join the party. What I need is just to launch the game with many pads, I dont actually need to play for real. I hope I explained well

I believe that this task has been achieved. Now, you want to have a minimal feeder that translate keyboard strokes to controller's activity. Do you want to use 1 keyboard to emulate 3 controller devices? You need some mapping. For instance, press 1 to start device 1, 2 to start device 2 and so on. This may be achieved by writing a simple Feeder or using EvilC's UCR application. Hope I could help.

Yes, 1 keyboard to emulate 3 controllers is fine. When I click the link under "UCR" I just get redirected to this page. I saw that vjoy has a "Feeder Demo", Im assuming that cant be used for this taks. Also do you know if xbox360ce can do what I need? Thanks again

Silly me. Here it is: github.com/evilC/UCRYou can use the demo feeder. I think that you can have a working prototype within a half hour. The xBox can be seen as a stendard joystick if you are on Windows 10. Not sure about older Windows.
